Woodland is situated twenty miles from downtown Sacramento and eighty-five miles from San Francisco. Lake Tahoe and Reno are only a two hour drive away where camping, hiking, skiing, and backpacking can be found. Woodland hosts several community events: The Scottish Games, the Yolo County Fair, the Chili Cook Off, and the Chamber`s Holiday Parade. The Heidrick Ag History Center and Hays Truck Museum are outstanding entertainment and educational opportunities in our community.
