The Woodland Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the long-awaited return of the 56^th annual Holiday Parade! After a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, the parade will once again ride down Main Street on December 10^th this year, with the theme "Home for the Holiday Magic." We want to thank everyone in our community for their patience as well as the City of Woodland for sponsoring this event.

We are also introducing a key change in order to better accommodate our local businesses and the community in general. Instead of a morning start to the parade, we will begin in the afternoon this year with the goal of having the best of both a daytime and nighttime parade. We hope that this change will enhance the overall experience for both the community and the businesses along the parade route, creating new opportunities for our local businesses and opening the possibility of pre- and post-parade festivities as we move forward.

Since this change is new to everyone, we will be adjusting the start time based on the number of participants. Earlier participants will kick off the parade in daylight as we have done in years past, while later divisions will close the parade into the early evening with brightly lit floats and other entries. Entrants will be able to select their desired placement as part of the application process and we will adjust the start time accordingly. We will begin accepting applications on October 5^th, and we will also be introducing an online application, which can be found here.

We will be reviewing the overall experience following this year's parade to determine the effects of these changes and to help us chart a path forward for 2023. Again, we truly appreciate everyone's patience over these last few years, and we could not be happier to once again be hosting the Holiday Parade!
